I just wanted to add that, I asked last week about how to go about getting naturalization records for my great-grandfather, etc. from my hometown courthouse. The index is online on the county gen web site. I was told I am welcome to come there and find them, and it is $1 to make each copy. So, that will mean a trip there, rather than being able to ask for a copy to be sent to me. It isn't far, but I haven't been driving due to knee problems. Just thought I would let you know that some places may not send out naturalization records, like my home county. I'm sure that they are small and don't have anyone to do that. Cecelia in Texas P.S.
