Have you tried finding the churches through the LDS History Library near you? Bavaria is a large area but your best source is in church books. Perhaps the books in Indiana churches would be a good place to start. Some of our family's towns are listed beside their names in baptisms i. e. godparents and weddings. I understand the people at the LDS History library very helpful. Best Wishes
