10-08-06 Hi Everyone, Finally have DSL. Still unable to find more information on John/Johann Meisinger who arrived in the port of NY on July 18, 1854. I did come across a Lawrence Herman married to Barbara Meisinger both born in 1816 with a son Joseph A. Herman who arrived in 1859 according to census film. I haven't been able to find them on any passenger list. They settled in Clarion as did the John and Anna Gruber Meisinger. I think that Barbara coul be a sister of John as he was born in 1814 in Bavaria as was Lawrence, Barbara and Joseph. Hope someone can help. Love receiving emails.
