I have document with a place of birth listed as Onsbach Achern, Bad. Germany. I have used all the sites I know of to locate this place with no luck. Perhaps someone out there recognizes this name .

The places you're looking for are ACHERN and OENSBACH: Achern calls itself the "Gate to the northern Black Forrest". It's located abt. 30 kilometres southwest of BADEN-BADEN, enroute to OFFENBURG (abt. 25 km south of Achern). OENSBACH or ONSBACH is just 3 kilometres in the south of Achern, today maybe an integral part of the village of Achern.
