Thanks Wolf, I was just checking if anyone out there MIGHT have some info on either ofthe names. Straingely, there was another Charles H. Jaep 10 year younger living in NJin 1880 and the wife's mother's name was Caroline..one of my Charles'schildren was named that. May be common with German families though. Therewas another Jaep in Philly in 1900 also and one settled in Camden Co.Haddenfield area and my Grandfather was in a small town just outsideHaddenfield. I think these may be relatives and am trying to contact themas well. Thanks for the tip. I'll try the German Phone Book.Never thought of that.
