I am a new member and I would like to introduce myself; I am Peggy Hoermann Neill of Texas. My Gr Grandparents were: Heinrich Friedrich Johann Hoermann and Marie Albertine Werchen from the Winzlar/Rehburg/Wunstorf area of Hanover His parents were: Heinrich F. J. Hoermann(lb. l803 in Winzlar)and Catherine S. W. Wilkening. His parents were: Johann H. Hoermann and Marie Harfelbrink(Hasselbrink ?) The parents of Marie Albertine Werche(a)n were: Freiderich Werchen and Amalie _______. My other set of Gr Grandparents were August Klaus and Louise von Bieberstein. His parents were Conrad Klaus and Katrina Schmidz . I do not know his parents but her father was believed to be Heinrich Schmidz. Louise von Bieberstein was the child of August von Bieberstein and _____ Sophie (?). They were from the Escbruch area which I understand is now in Russian occupied Poland. I believe the Hoermann's came to Texas cl846-48 on the ship "Estafette" and the von Biebersteins came to Texas l852-54 on the ship "Weser". All said they sailed from Port of Bremen. Thank you.
