I was most interested in Don's surname distribution chart. I've never been able to find my grandfather's birth place in Germany. This web page indicates there are two places in "Bavaria" where Fingado surname appears. http://christoph.stoepel.net/geogen_map.aspx?mode=abs&lang=en Would anyone be able to tell me the city name from the two locations in Bavaria? Or, any other suggestions where I might search church records for my grandfather? I've exhausted the Lahr region. I always thought he was from Baden, so not sure from this map where I might do more research. I'm so motivated to find my missing grandfather! Thanks for any assistance. Sue Fingado-Hubbard
