    3. Thanks, Jerrald!! You're a treasure!! Conrad (1752) would be my gggg grandfather, the first in my father's line to come from Europe to America!! What sources did you use? I would like to get copies of documentation if possible. Also, I'd like to know the name of ship, dates & ports of departure & arrival, etc. I don't mind doing my own reseach if someone just points me in the right direction. I'd also like to learn about their lives in Magdenberg. (Maybe I'll be able to go their one day...) Any ideas? --- Jerrald Lloyd <jlloyd@chartermi.net> wrote: > Conrad Eudy--born 1752--Magdenberg > F.S.,Germany--died 1810 Montgonery, N.C. > Married --Elizabeth Hackey. > Children > Conrad--1781 > Henry----1784 > John--1787 > Catherine--1788 > William-- > David 1799 > > Jerrald Lloyd > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "B Kelly" <kellys_kreations2000@yahoo.com> > To: <GERMANY-PASSENGER-LISTS-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Thursday, October 12, 2006 8:35 PM > Subject: [G-P-L] EUDY/UHDE/OUDY/UTE... > > > > HI, > > MY NAME IS BRENDA EUDY (MAIDEN), AND I'M LOOKING > FOR > > THREE, MAYBE FOUR, BROTHERS WHO CAME TO AMERICA > FROM > > THE SAXONY AREA, POSSIBLY MADGEBURG, SOMETIME > BETWEEN > > 1760 AND 1790, PROBABLY THE EARLIER THAN LATER. > > > > THERE ARE MANY OTHER PERMUTATIONS TO THE SURNAME > > BESIDES THE ONES I'VE LISTED, BUT I BELIEVE THEY > WENT > > BY "UHDE" IN GERMANY. > > > > POSSIBLE FORENAMES ARE: > > > > CONRAD/KONRAD > > DANIEL BURNETTE/BARNHARDT > > GODFRYT/GOTTFRIED > > LORENZO/LAURENCE > > > > ALL I KNOW AT THIS POINT IS THAT THEY SETTLED > MAINLY > > IN MECKLENBERG COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, ALTHOUGH > THEY > > MAY HAVE ENTERED THROUGH A NORTHERN PORT, THEN > > MIGRATED. > > > > I'M AFRAID I DON'T KNOW YET THE NAME OF THEIR SHIP > OR > > PORT OF DEPARTURE. > > > > I'D GREATLY APPRECIATE BEING POINTED IN THE RIGHT > > DIRECTION!! > > > > BRENDA > > > > __________________________________________________ > > Do You Yahoo!? > > Tired of spam?
