    3. Hello Ann, You asked to be steered into the right direction regarding your search for your Charles JAEP ancestor. Firstly, you can forget about trying to find him on any passenger ship list around 1871 as this is not his date of immigration but rather his date of "naturalization". Charles Jaep and his parents appear already on the 1850 census! I ran a search on the family but have misplaced it...when I find it I'll contact you at your private email address.
