Hi, While looking at a passenger list for an ancestor from BAVARIA, I found this word written POGNETT and of course do not know what it is. Maybe a town? I really can't make out the last two letters even with a magnifying glass. I hope someone can clue me in. Thanks in advance. Mary
Hi, Mary, this looks really strange to me... could it be a 'mis-spelling' or 'mis-reading' ?? It might be worthwhile to see a scan of this, maybe someone else could read something entirely different with a more 'meaningful' sense ??
