Hello Marge The Bernhard Haack family first stayed in the town of Oswego ,New York. My Grandmother Augusta H. W. Haack was born there in Oswego, N.Y. in 1873. There the next location of Them were in the 1880 census of Crawford county of MO. There was a Wilhelm Haack that was on the same ship "Christel" That They left on , from the port of Bremen of Germany. I do not know where the Willhelm Haack , settled at in the U.S.A. Their records of Pommern , seem to be from a town that the IGI , and the " Batch " numbers did not record. I sometimes suspect that Bernhard was not His first name , but is His middle name .
