What Ewert names are you related to. My uncle was Edward Ewert. His parents were Frederick Edward Ewert and Emma Deightmann. They were born in Germany and came to the USA and settled in Providence, R.I. They had 5 children. Later they settled in the Boston area of Massachusetts. Edward was married before to Elizabeth. They had, I think, 3 children. Elizabeth and the children came to the USA and settled in Providence, RI. I didn't get to see your original posting so I don't know if this is the family you are looking for.
