    3. Karl, this brings up an interesting question whether or not its necessary for the recipient to be a member at Ancestry. Karl, you should have received an email from me. Within the email body there should be a link telling you about the item I sent. It starts with .....http://search.ancestry.com and a string of titles. You shouldn't have to do anything other than click on the link inside my email to take you to the pages. Could you go back to my email to see if it works? Ursula ___________________________________________________ There'll come a time, when you'll have no more time. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karl Roussin" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, March 12, 2010 5:17:29 PM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: Re: [G-P-L] Reply to-- Sharing Publications via Ancestry.com Hello Ursula I have dropped the Ancestry.com. The only thing that I could find was the cost of the book for $175. at Amazon.com . I entered the title of the book into GOOGLE and clicked onto the 2nd item , and that is what popped up. So maybe I am doing it wrong , however that is what I did , since I am not subscribed to Ancestry.Com anymore. 3. I just called them today to clarify whether someone would be able to use the message service once july was here, and perhaps they no longer had a myfamily or an ancestry account. They said the ancestry trees are free, as long as they are public trees, If you were a guest on a myfamily site, you could use the myfamily message service. And the service is available between myfamily members of a web site. If anyone needs their telephone number I do have both myfamily and ancestry although I imagine they are pretty much published all over. I know that much of what is available through Ancestry you can click on, but it will not work without a membership.. They really are very good at what they do, but they do vex me at times. marge > Date: Sat, 13 Mar 2010 01:07:50 +0000 > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [G-P-L] Reply to-- Sharing Publications via Ancestry.com > > Karl, > > this brings up an interesting question whether or not its necessary for the recipient to be a member at Ancestry. > > Karl, you should have received an email from me. 3. The person has to be a paying member to view the pages that are not free. Very little on Ancestory is free and they could view those FREE pages if they do not pay for an account.
