    3. Susan, unless there was also a town named KOSEGER, the town I have was spelled KOSEEGER, District of Kolberg, Pommerania now known as COSESEC, Poland. The LDS only has civil registry records from 1874-1885, which wouldn't be any help to you. Then on another site I found that KOSEEGER is now Kozia Gora [Bialogard], Koszalin, Poland. It appears as if there has been some re-districting. I'm afraid that there is only a slim chance of finding any church records for that particular town. Now regarding your SCHROEDER immigrant family, you neglected to mention whether this elderly couple - Wilhelm would have been age 53 at immigration - came with children. I find it hard to believe that Wilhelm and Wilhelmine came alone at this stage in their life to start over, after all, there was no war in 1890 that would have prompted them to leave Germany. Do you know the names of their children, and if so, when did they immigrate and where did they settle?
