Well I think I gave you all I know. This is my g-g-grandfather-in-law his name is Heinrich Andreas Fuhrmeister he went by Henry. He was born in 1832 in Rhoden, Halberstadt, Magdaburg, Prussia. (that is what was translated from his marriage record) He immigrated to the US in 1854, I got this date from the 1900 census and was told by my husbands aunt (her husband was one of Heinrich's great grandson's he and my husbands father are deceased)that Heinrich aka Henry came in to the country at Pittsburg, PA with a brother she thought, one went to Texas and the other to the Dakota territory. I have no proof of the brother right now. I don't know the port of departure and the port of arrival is only from word of mouth. I had assumed that Heinrich would have come into the country via Galveston or a Gulf Port but I have found nothing there either. The reason why my last post didn't include all of this other information is because it doesn't help. At least it hasn't helped me. The info i have was gathered from death certificates and church records. I hope someone else has better luck with this info. As far as I have found he never used his middle name at least here in the states. _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail: Free, trusted and rich email service. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/196390708/direct/01/
