I read somewhere in this place that Wolf recommended the book as above, I went to Amazon.com and ordered the book for US$1.86 (used hardcover) and the postage and the total came to AUS$16. I have read the Wurttemberg stories first and the Introduction (like a mini book in itself) detailing the reasons why they left etc. I want to thank Wolf for putting the book title where I saw it, it is the best money I have spent on a book for ages, and coincidentally did come across the surname of one of my target relatives in one of the chapters. It is such a great book, it explains so much through their letters home, and would recommend it to people with German relatives who want to know why and how. Dale Gough (Australia)
