I am also researching BRUEGGEMANN --- from Osede, Hannover. The info I have is my GR GR Grandmother, MARIA GERTRUDE BRUEGGEMANN, was born in Osede 8/11/1829, immigrated to Cincinnati, OH about 1850, married BERNARD KOHRMANN in 1860 (and possibly 2 prior marriages) in Cincinnati, Ohio. HELENA BRUEGGEMANN is listed on a marriage license as a witness. I have no other info. I am sure these BRUEGGEMANNs were Catholic, so if anyone has access to Catholic church records in Osede, I would appreciate some help in locating MARIA GERTRUDE'S birth and/or baptismal record and any related family records.
