    3. Hello Ursula, to be honest, I have read EVERY passenger list on Die Maus five years plus/less 1923 before coming here. It took me about 85 hours of exclusive work. I am not the person who asks out of lazyness. In fact, I even required digital access to the brazilian archives in digital way - they have up to 1904, and it seems they lack funding. 2011/8/5 Ursula <ubatrans@comcast.net> > Hallo Alexandre, > > The link shown below takes you to the Germany Genealogy Website, "Die > Maus". > While the link is in German, most of the data is self-explanatory even for > non-speakers. > I entered "Strube" in the search field but didn't really find anyone > travelling to Brazil. > However, if you click on "Destination Harbors" you will find all the ships > that sailed > from Bremen to Sao Francisco do Sul and Sao Paulo, Brazil; although I > didn't see any going to > Rio. > Nonetheless, it may be fun perusing the different passenger ship lists in > the hope of > finding something of interest. > > http://www.passengerlists.de/ > > Much luck, > > Ursula > _________________________________________________________________ > Memories are like threads of gold, they never tarnish or grow old > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Alexandre Strube" <surak@surak.eti.br> > To: germany-passenger-lists@rootsweb.com > Sent: Thursday, August 4, 2011 7:33:33 PM > Subject: Re: [G-P-L] Looking for which ship the Strube family went to > Brazil. > > Hello, > > the farthest I could find was information from memory of my uncle.
