Thanks for reply - If more of the PL's were available (GDad) did in 09, could you give me a link to search for 1854 - 1855. There was a note he may have started his home travel to emigrate with Christoph Euchner found on the Ship William Tell on 23 October 1854 - but not on the ships PL list. File knowledge (fact or guess's) Auswanderer-ID 19046 Given name Johannes Name Euchner Year of emigration 1854 Destination North America Town of origin Grafenberg Marital status unmarried / single Occupation Bauer – farmer Sex male Born 1838 Number of children 1 Personal etstate 150 fl (Gulden/Florin) District / County Nürtingen Archive HauptstaatsArchive Stuttgart In a message dated 5/17/2011 10:45:53 A.M. I'm interested in getting the actual manifests scanned and put on online. I'd be very happy of doing a page-by-page search if I'm searching for a specific person or family. So the question is, have all PLs been scanned and put online? Trying to determine IF I should continue my 1854 search for Johannes Euchner born 6 January 1838 from Grafenberg, Wuett. according to the church archives in Stuttgart. Have eliminated the 1840 John and the 1802 landing in 1856 and realize many list were lost/destroyed.
