Joan, the only way I could help you is if the Hardt family landed first in New York before leaving for Australia. I have been told that one of the German Universities is attempting to index the few Bremen Departure lists that are available but so far they are not accessible through ancestry.com. Perhaps someone on the list can provide you with a link. Other than that you would need to contact the Australian equivalent of the NRA. Sorry I can't help. The passengers I am interested in are the Ernst Hardt family. The family consisted of Mathilde (mother) Ernst (husband Bertha (wife) Reinhold Anna Emma It is my understanding that this ship was in quarantine at Port Charles for about 16 days, arriving at Port Charles on Nov. 10, 1892. Also, is there any way to find an individual that died at sea or in quarantine? Any assistance is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
