    3. Hello Jeanne, rather easy to answer. There is a couple of Dauwe in the Bentheim and Osnabrück area. But the origin of all Dauwe is a farm ab. 8 miles from my home in the Tecklenburg, Westfalen area. I have no proof, but I have thought the Dauwe's may have come from Osnabruck or a village named Lingerich. I'm so interested about the origin of Dauwe farm. Is one still there?
