    3. Hello Marlene, Where or to which church did you send your letter in 1999? Why can't you send a fax? It only costs pennies and if you have a newer computer you can send your fax from your computer. As to the SCHWARKs, there are quite a few families from Mecklenburg-Schwerin who settled in Macomb County, Michigan. I have been searching for Christian Schwark's passenger list for years. He and his wife and a young son, John, settled in St Clair County, MI around 1853. Christian was killed in a sawmill accident in 1859. His descendants are still living in this area. Much luck with your research. I am wondering if it is possible to get information from German churches by email. In 1999 I sent a letter by snail mail and receieved some valuable information. When I go to the site now I just see fax and phone numbers. Both would be to expensive. I have found another family in Minnesota that has the same last name, but we have traced as far back as we can in the US. We know we are cousins but think the link must be back in Germany. Any help would be appreciated. Marlene in Minnesota www.thehungersite.com http://www.codeamber.org
