Hello Marlene, Where or to which church did you send your letter in 1999? Why can't you send a fax? It only costs pennies and if you have a newer computer you can send your fax from your computer. As to the SCHWARKs, there are quite a few families from Mecklenburg-Schwerin who settled in Macomb County, Michigan. I have been searching for Christian Schwark's passenger list for years. He and his wife and a young son, John, settled in St Clair County, MI around 1853. Christian was killed in a sawmill accident in 1859. His descendants are still living in this area.
