    3. He was born Nov 1885 in Vittoria, Sicily. He married in Sep 1914 even though I have been unable to find proof of that. At various times he worked as a longshoreman, in a printing shop, a day laborer in construction and a pipe fitter. During WWI he worked as a longshoreman and lived in Manhattan. In 1920 he was in Manhattan with his wife Giovannina and son Angelo In 1930 he was in Brooklyn with his wife and sons Angelo & Salvatore. He made his Declaration of Intention in 1931 and Petition for citizenship in 1934. During WWII he worked for Consolidated Telegraph & Electric Subway Company. I was hoping to be able to find the passenger manifest and eventually the marriage record. As I mentioned previously, the Certificate of Arrival has a date and ship that don't match up with the manifest. For the marriage record I have looked at every possible spelling for both the bride and the groom. I guess they married out of the city.
