Hi Bobbi, When searching for my ggrandfather with someone who was doing me a great favor and is very experienced in searching we found that my ggrandfather was detained and we could not find him. When I arrived home that evening, I couldn't understand why we couldn't find him when his name was on the ship's list index. I decided to transpose his name - I entered his last name as his first name and his first name as his last. Bingo - found him. Sometimes you have to think out of the box because of the mistakes that were made. I hope this helps!
