Thank you again for material and questions about Karl Jaeger. I will try to answer all here that I can. My mother died in 2009 and I am very sad that I didn't find Uncle Karl before she died. We have no relatives that I know of in Germany. She was possibly not remembering exactly when Uncle Karl came to the U.S. I assumed he used his first name because that is how she referred to him, so I am not sure about that. The family was living in Frankfurt, but he could have moved to another city, then boarded a boat to the U.S. He was born June 6, 1885. He had one brother, Wilhelm Karl Heinrich Jaeger (b 7/31/1887) and one sister, Charlotte Ottilie Katharine Jaeger (b 6/14/1889). Thank you, Bettina
