    1. [G-P-L] Information from Germany by email?
    2. Marlene Schwark
    3. I am wondering if it is possible to get information from German churches by email. In 1999 I sent a letter by snail mail and receieved some valuable information. When I go to the site now I just see fax and phone numbers. Both would be to expensive. I have found another family in Minnesota that has the same last name, but we have traced as far back as we can in the US. We know we are cousins but think the link must be back in Germany. Any help would be appreciated. 3. My one contact with Germany turned out very successful, but that was in the state of Thuringia. However, so far I only get quotes on doing the research in Bavaria. Now, I really think it depends on the actual area that you are researching. They all have different processes and procedures, from what I am gathering. If you want my contact from Eisenach, Thuringia Germany, let me know. He is very knowledgeable. 3. Hello Marlene, I may work or it may not work - say, no all German churches provide information by email. Some even don't reply to any email being sent to them. Which church/parish are you trying to contact - maybe I will be able to help.
