Hello, Listees - Ursula-the-Superb has sent me Anton's definite 1930 Census sheet and an excellent candidate for Anton & Katerina's passenger manifest - the Koeln, arriving in Baltimore 9 Jul 1881,,,with baby Marie already on board! Marie's birth info came from her death certificate. I should have been suspicious since birth info errors occur time and again in the DCs of my Ewert / Evert / Everett family, also of Cleveland. Julia, I also came across a passport application to Cuba by Stephen A. Kamis b. 1898 in Cleveland, including photo of himself with wife. He was sent to Cuba while in the US military.
