    3. Hey again, Jeff- I came across Aaron's wife Mary's death record. She died at the early age of 40. She died on Jan 15, 1891 of Consumption (TB). According to the record she was born in KY. They were living at 276 Washington St at the time of her death. The physician was E.P. Sale and Holst was the sexton. That is all the info on her death record. Does not state where she was buried. --- On Thu, 4/28/11, Davidson, Jeff <JEFDAV@oklahomacounty.org> wrote: From: Davidson, Jeff <JEFDAV@oklahomacounty.org> Subject: [G-P-L] Aron Davidson on the ship Washington from Germany to New York. 3. Hey Jeff Not certain if anyone had filled you in, I had not seen any other posts per this request. Your ancestor, Aaron G. Davidson passed away on Nov. 13, 1900 in Memphis, Shelby Co., TN. He was 69 yrs, 2 mos and 1 day when he passed. Per the death notice, it only states he was from Germany, lived in Shelby Co many years. He died at 68 Front St and is buried in a Jewish Cemetery (not stated which). He died of Catarrhal Pneumonia. I could not find info on his wife, Mary. 3. In 2006 I got a copy from a relative from GERMAN-SURNAMES-L regarding the passenger list of my Carl RADUEGE. He & his wife & 2 children arrived April 12, 1876. She did not say where he landed in the USA. They came on the ship Gellert & the captain's name was Barends. They left from Hamburg & Havre. Names Carl Raduege, wife Johanna, children Gustav & Albert. I have searched the ship without luck. How can I find where they landed & the passenger list to see what others were on board? Thanks for any suggestions Ursula. Ann Bradford

It is hard to get through, no gasoline, limited cell, no power mostly reporting they can receive cell calls some but can't call out, can't get voice messages. They don't expect for several days. It took me HOURS to get a hold of my children, so if you get no news not to worry yet. The whole northern half of state they said looks like war zone. 3. Joan, the only way I could help you is if the Hardt family landed first in New York before leaving for Australia. I have been told that one of the German Universities is attempting to index the few Bremen Departure lists that are available but so far they are not accessible through ancestry.com. Perhaps someone on the list can provide you with a link. Other than that you would need to contact the Australian equivalent of the NRA. Sorry I can't help. The passengers I am interested in are the Ernst Hardt family.  The family consisted of Mathilde (mother) Ernst (husband Bertha  (wife) Reinhold Anna Emma It is my understanding that this ship was in quarantine at Port Charles for about 16 days, arriving at Port Charles on Nov. 10, 1892. Also, is there any way to find an individual that died at sea or in quarantine? Any assistance is very much appreciated.  Thank you in advance.
