I'm still looking for the birth city of my Grandfather, Augustus Adolph FINGADO. Believe he was born 6 December 1855 somewhere in Baden. Believe he immigrated in 1872 but I've never found his name on a Passenger List. Any help would be gratefully appreciated! Sue Fingado-Hubbard

I have never receeved anything that applies to me. But, that's okay. I just delete and hope that, one of these days, there will be something of interest. I know that someone is interested in the stuff that is being sent, so good for them. And I'll just wait and hope that there will be something that I can relate to. Maybe there are new people who don't know. I've been here a while and didn't know. How do you find this information? The only thing I've ever seen are these messages by e-mail. I don't know much about computers. I don't even know what you mean by key it in. My Carl/Charles Fischer was also Lutheran , maybe from Rhinestadt. Thats as far as I have him and family tracked.No ship so far has been found. Wolgast claim to have sailed on the same ship in 1871 or 1872,depends on which census report where they stated different dates in different census. Judy, I have Kerns in my line, but none from that part of Germany that I know of at this point.? I was told Alsac-Lorraine and I don't know how far Bavaria is from there. My question for you is:?
