    2. Here are the German families I'm researching in Wisconsin: Rudolph HANSCHE and descendants - Rudolph was born Dec 8, 1812 in Lienen, Germany died Sept 8, 1882 in Racine, Wisconsin. He married Anna SOERGEL who was born April 14, 1831 in Germany and died on her birthday, April 14, 1901 in Racine. Anna's brothers lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Augustus PIPER (nee' KRUMMPIEPER) was born the August 19, 1825 in Halle, Germany and died January 31, 1896 in Racine, Wisconsin. He married Margaret BRAID who was born in Scotland. Augustus (Gus) and Rudolph were on the same ship coming over to America. They were shipwrecked off the coast of Haiti and spent the winter of 1840-41 in Santo Domingo. Gus' mother died of Yellow Fever there. Ferdinand HILKER was born August 5, 1866 in Shoetmar, Germany and died June 24, 1949 in Racine, Wisconsin. He was married to Lydia HEISER who was born Dec 27, 1872 in Nebraska and died August 20, 1937 in Racine, Wisconsin. Ferdinand's parents lived in Racine for a brief period of time. They were Philip and Charlotte. I would love to find pictures of them as I have none. They moved to South Dakota with a daughter and her husband. Samuel HENDERLITER/HINDERLITER was born Sept 12, 1822 in Wilkes-Barre PA and died April 7, 1905 in Highland, Wisconsin. He was married to Malinda AINEAU ( ANO or ANOU). Carol Pattison
