I found him on a CD: "Germans to America" - but was hoping to be able to copy the Ship Manifest [consisting of 2 pages] which would provide me with more information than what I currently have; specifically - who was the family left in Germany, how much money he brought with him, who paid his passage, etc. I found him at the LDS Family History Library in a book listing Germans to America, which had minimal information. As you say above, the list of those sailing from Bremen no longer exists, but I'm looking for the NY list. I do not know where to look for the Castle Garden ship manifest list.
