I'm looking for information on my Kraemer family. The doors just opened a little wider for me and I'm hoping there are some other Kraemer's out there doing research on their family as well. My Grandma is the last of the Kraemer's along her line (we follow down through the Michael Kraemer line below). We were at a standstill with Jakob Kraemer in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin until we received some census information about the other children that they had. We do not know when they came to the U.S. from Germany, but we think it may have been around the late 1840's. We believe that they made a stop in Cincinnati, Ohio (due to census records) before moving on to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. We do not know where they came from in Germany.
