I am getting very frustrated. I sent to Madison for my g grandmother's birth certificate and my g grandfather's death certificate in September! I realize that the birth cert. of a person who has been dead for 50 years is not a priority, but do you all think I should just settle back and be patient? I did send a check and self addressed stamped envelope so I assume I will get a response, even if it is a 'we can't find anything' response, right? I had to send to madison since I don't know where in wisconsin my g grandmother was born. I found a person who might be her in the 1880 census in Portage, but I am not really sure that is her.
