Hi all, I just subscribed to your list a few minutes ago & thought I'd type a quick note to get acquainted. My name is Cammie Jordan. I am researching some of my German ancestors that lived in different places in Wisconsin. I haven't done much research on this side of my family yet, but the research I've done has lead me to many brick walls. Maybe you can help recognize some of these surnames. SURNAMES include: BANACH; BARCLAY; BAYER; BEARDSLEY; BECHERL; BREUNNING; BRUSKY; BURR; BUSSA; CHRISTLEBAUER; DELCORP; DITTMER; DORY; KENNINGER; KRAUSE; LEVERNEZ MacFerson; MAIGATTER; MOLITOR; PEKAREK; RAUSCHER; ROCK; SAGER; SCHROEDER; SPEG; SCHWEKE; SHERMAN; SMITS; VAN VONDEREN My great, great, great grandparents, Franciscus SAGER & Theresa CHRISTLEBAUER came to from Germany & settled in Norman, Wisconsin. First of all, where is Norman, WI???? They are both buried in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery there. They had 9 children: Carrie; Kate; Rose; Ben; Maria; Frank; John E.; Julius & Laura. Since I barely know anything about this family, I'd like to get into contact with anyone who has ties to this family. I'd like to trade photos & information on my side of this family. I'll list what little I know about each child. Carrie SAGER married a man named Theodore SCHROEDER, but I don't know when & where. I don't even have Carrie's birth date, but it would have been either in the late 1840's or early 1850's - probably marrying about 20-25 years after that. Their only son in law's surnames was: KRAUSE. Kate SAGER married a man named William BARCLAY. Again, I don't know when & where, nor do I have Kate's birth date. It would be somewhere around the late 1840's or early 1850's. Rose SAGER married a man with the last name of SPEG. I don't even know his first name. Rose was the 3rd child born, so her dates would be right after her sister's. Ben SAGER married a woman named Sophia Foss BREUNING. Ben was born March 20, 1857 in Austria. He married Sophia in 1883, but I don't know where. They had 3 children: Frank; Martha & Fred "Tiny". Frank was born September 09, 1884 & married Amelia DELCORP December 21, 1927 (don't know where) & they had one child that I know of named Robert. Martha (b. August 06, 1886) married a man named Enos BURR sometime & somewhere & they had Llewellyn & Wayne. Fred "Tiny" married Norma SCHWEKE June 1928 (also don't have a place of marriage). NOTE: this next line is my direct line. Would REALLY like information about them! Maria SAGER married Anton KENNINGER. They ended up living in Michigan, but may have lived many places in Wisconsin. Their kids were: Anna Mary Kenninger; Kathryn Anna Kenninger; Francis Anton Kenninger; Mary Martha; Helen "Lena" Martha; Laura Theresa & Benhard Julius Kenninger. Anna Mary married Joseph BAYER who was born in Pesktego, WI. Their son in laws surnames include: YORK; MARSK; VOGEL & JERSKY. Kathryn married Charles BECHERL. I have all the information about this line. Mary Martha married Alex RAUSCHER. Their son in law's surnames were: BEARDSLEY & BANACH. Helen "Lena" married an Elmer DORY. They are both buried in Oconto, Wisconsin. I don't have death dates for either of them, nor do I know if they had children or not. Laura married an Paul BUSSA. Benhard married Myrtle Becherl in North Dakota END of my line. Frank Sager married Julia BRUSKY. Son in law surnames include: SHERMAN; MAIGATTER & PEKAREK John E. Sager married Henrrietta VAN VONDEREN. Son in law surnames include: SMITS; MOLITOR; ROCK; & MacFerson. Julius Sager (born in WI - don't know birth date) married Anna DITTMER. Their son in law's surname was LEVERNEZ. Laura married Louis BRUSKY. She & her husband are buried in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Neillsville, Wisconsin. They both died in the early 1950's. Anyone with connections to this family, I'd LOVE to hear from you! Also, if anyone else can provide information, that would be awesome. Thanks so much!! Cammie Jordan
