    3. Hello: I am looking for information about my great grandfather and great grandmother, their parents, and any descendants. I have the following information. Great Grandfather: Carl KREUTZ listed his last residence as Martinshagen (Kreis Schlawe, Pommern, Germany) on the ships passenger list. He was born Feb. 15, 1839, died June 12, 1921. His father was Gustaf Kreutz. Carl first married a REIBE in about 1860 and had three children: This wife died in 1872-3 in Pommern. Anna Mary (SAGGERT), Caroline (GABBERT), and Mathilda (SIEMIENIEWSKI) Great Grandmother: Caroline (Last name listed in various documents as: WRANG, GEIST, GEISZNER, and STRANGE) was born in 1844, died about 1893-5. My Great Grandmother was Carls second wife. They were married in 1873 and came to the USA on the ship Braunschweig landing in Baltimore, MD November 30, 1892. Carl and Caroline had six children all born in Pommern: Karl, Martha (SCHWABE), Bertha (LUETH), August, my grandmother Hedwige (NESSLAR), and Henry. They first settled in Harvard, Illinois and later lived in Lake Geneva, Shull Lake, Zenda, and Kenosha, Wisconsin. Carl, Caroline, Henry, Martha, and Bertha are buried in Walworth Center Cemetery in Walworth, Wisconsin. I have located records for Martinshagen but only for 1874 - 1881. Information, guidance, and connections welcome. John Thacher --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! SiteBuilder - Free, easy-to-use web site design software
