Hi, Do not know if this will help either, but my gggrandfather's place of birth was notated next the to entry of his death in the church book (St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ft. Atkinson). Perhaps they did the same in Dodge Co. His sister's place of birth was also recorded in the same manner and was in the same area but not the same place. His mother's death was only marked by the names of her surviving children. So the chruch records may be a source. Bob Sommerfeldt
