I received the marriage license today for my grandparents John and Anna (nee SIEGEL) BECKER. It says John was born in Franzenhein, Prussia and Anna was born in Heinen, Silesia. Florence-- That all depends on what time period you're talking about. The boundaries of Prussia and other German states changed over time.
