He was born on August 7, 1942 in the Town of Chilton; son of Rose (Meier) Wettstein and the late Joseph Wettstein. He worked for over 40 years at the Chilton New Hope Center; he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. His father, Joseph Wettstein preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2003 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton with the Rev. Gary New S.D.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home in Chilton from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2003 and again on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
