I seek info on the family of Mathias GERHART or variant spelling. His wife was Anna Marie SCHMITT, who d. ca 1846 They emigrated in 1842, coming from Ditscheid, Rhein-Pfalz, near Daun or Retterath, and not hugely far from Coblenz. With them were Michel and Ana. Ana coulld have been either wife or sister of Michel, a son of Mathias. Catharine, b 1840, also was of this family altho she was not on the passenger list, She ended up in Chicago in the late 1860s, as did Mathias, her father, I think. The HAERIGs were Mathias' mother's family, and some of them had previously emigrated to WI. I'd love to get a line in the US on any of these folks Jane in AZ
