Hi listers, As long as we are on this discussion of Churches, does anyone know anything about the United Brethern Church? My great great grandfather, William Heiser, was a minister in the United Brethern Church in Nebraska and Kansas. I know that the services were in German. I don't really know much about this denomination. Carol Pattison
Carol, you may find these sites informative. I was brought up in the Evangelical United Brethern Church; amusingly it was also Garrison Keillor's denomination. When I was confirmation age, the Brethern united with the Methodists and formed the United Methodists. http://www.huntington.edu/library/ubhc.html http://www.bartleby.com/65/ev/EvangUBC.html CA ----- Original Message ----- From: <Maycreek@aol.com> > Hi listers, > As long as we are on this discussion of Churches, does anyone know > anything about the United Brethern Church?
