MARZ/MARCH/MARTZ/MAERZ/MAERTZ * William MAERTZ (born 1818); married Wilhelmina VOKEET (born 1899) * Johann MAERTZ (born 1827); married Wilhelmine RUSCH (born 1826) * Friedrich MAERTZ (born 1830); married Henriette RADUGE (born 1828) * Ferdinand MAERTZ (born 1821); married Caroline BUBOLZ (born 18230 * Carl MARCH (born 1810); married Caroline RUSCH (born 1813) All were from Germany (Prussia; Pommern) and farmed in the Maple Grove/Reedsville area of Manitowoc County, WI, starting in the mid 1850's. GANS/GANZ/JANCE/JANTZ/JANZ * Daniel JANTZ, (born 1820); married Eva KROLL (born 1827) * Paul JANTZ (born 1817); married Henriette POPPEL (born 1824) * Michael JANTZ (born 1815); married Eva ZIMMERMAN (born 1809) All were from Germany and farmed in the Maple Grove/Reedsville area of Manitowoc County, WI, starting in the mid 1850's. FOLLETZ * Samuel FOLLETZ (born 1860); married Lena SALUGA (born 1864) Both were born in Germany (Sam may have been from Lithuania) and emigrated to the City of Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 1896. The FOLLETZ name is my 'brick wall'. I have found no one else with that name (except for Sam and Lena and their descendants).
