Mathew/Matthias LAUTERBACH m. Luciae METERNICH emigrated to America with their children in about 1847 and settled in Marytown, So of Chilton in Calumet County and then Menasha, Winnebago Co. Luciae METERNICH may have married a man named Schreiber and moved to Milwaukee after Mathew died in the 1850's. (The story gets pretty sketchy here.) Children: Kathryn LAUTEBACH m. Catherine BACH Anna Lauterbach became a Notre Dame nun named Sr. EDESIA Anna Marie may have lived with a family named Ruggles in Fond du Lac about 1850.
