Searching for information on the BREY families in Manitowoc history. Some given names are George, John, and Joseph. My great-grandfather Joseph moved to Marshfield with his family including my Grandpa Joseph. Joseph married my grandma Mary Caroline GERSPACH in Marshfield. At least one of Joseph Senior's brothers remained in Manitowoc. Grandma's father was Ferdinand GERSPACH. I would welcome any information about the families - where they came from in Germany, exactly when they came, were they naturalized, what ship they came on.
