I live a block from the courthouse in Iron Mountain, which is right on the Wisconsin border. Anyone who was brought to the hospital from the surrounding area and died in Iron Mountain would be listed in the death records there. The death records are in large books and the information has to be transcribed by hand. No death certificates are available.
