My Germans to America (Wisconsin) are: Christian Fredeick HINKEL (aka Chris HINKEL) born in Pommern on 02-27-1831 and came to America in May, 1876. He was naturalized in Wisconsin in 1880. His wife was Ernestine Fredericke RADLOFF, also from Pommern. She was the daughter of Ludwig RADLOFF and Augusta Hanna KLOHN (KLEIN). Both the HINKEL and RADLOFF families lived in Washington Township, Shawano County, WI. Chris HINKEL and Ernestine RADLOFF were the parents of 11 children: Ludwika, Josephine, Robert, Ernestine, Otto, Olga, John, August, Martha, Louis and Hannah all born in Shawano County. The Ludwig RADLOFF family consisted of 8 children -- born in Neusarnow, Cammin, Pommern were: Wilhelm Carl, Ernestine, August and Albert. Carl, Ernest, Max and Anne were born in Wisconsin. June Foster
