Dear Janice, Since you live in Texas, probably the best way to get these records is to contact the St. Louis Recorder of Deeds Office. For a fee, they will be able to make copies of any records they have on your son-in-laws ancestors. Since you have actual death dates for the people you are looking for, that should help considerably.
