Tiny fracture in my STECHER brick wall: just located the following lost family members. Seeking ANY information; hope to find descendants. Thank you! ------------------------------------ Arnold SCHANTL (born about 1875, son of JOHANNA Schantl from Switzerland, brother Lois) married my LOUISE STECHER after 1910. In 1910 Arnold worked at a brewery, and lived with Mother and brother at 1232 Ninth Street. ------------------------------------ Walter C HOPPE, born about 1883, married my AGNES STECHER around 1908. They lived on Sidney Street; he was a packer at a tea company. In 1920 they lived at 5040 Wells Avenue with children CARL HOPPE (9), LOUISE HOPPE(1), and Agnes' Mother Amelia Stecher. Walter was a dairy driver. In 1930 they lived with children Carl W. (19) & Louisa A. (11). Walter was a boss at a dairy; Carl a sheet metal draftsman. ----------------------------------- Agnes & Louise Stecher are daughters of August Stecher. They had one brother Rudolph Stecher and possibly one half brother OTTO, my GGrandfather. August is brother of the Rudolph Stecher who owned STECHER COOPERAGE WORKS and later RUDOLPH STECHER BREWERY in M'boro. All my Stechers (August, Rudolph, Ignatz, Joseph & Otto) emigrated to St. Louis 1864-1882, from Renchen, Baden, Germany. They worked for A. Busch before starting Cooperage Works in St. Louis and later Stecher Brewery in M'boro. ANY information very much appreciated, no matter how small! Many many thanks!
