    3. Thank you very much Kathy. Actually I already have that info. The 'T' is actually an 'F' even though that is what is written. This George is the son of the captain that I wrote about. The son was a drummer boy in the union army. The Andrew is my great grandfather and that is all I can find on him. If you have any other info, please write me. Thanks again for your interest and help. Andrew >>> kathy@craftsbykathy.com 4/15/2004 12:09:49 PM >>> Hello, I find George T. I am searching for any information about my great-great-great grandfather, Georg Friedrich Weckherlin and also my great grandfather, Andreas (Andrew) Weckherlin. Georg moved to Hermann, MO. in 1850 from Wurttemburg, Germany. Obviously he was one of the 48ers. He was a lieutenant in the army in Germany in Ludwigsburg and later a captain in the union army in St. Louis. Benton Hussars. After that I have no idea what happened to him. Andreas just disappeared. It is said he drowned in the Mississippi River. He was from St. Louis too. He had a son, Frederick Andrew Weckherlin (my grandfather) in 1896. I would really like to know something about my great grandfather so if you know something, pleaae write me or tell me where I could find some information. Thanks!
