    1. Re: [Germans-STL] Town name question
    2. In my research, in Kreis (County) Minden, there is a Holzhausen and a Holzhausen II, apparently to tell them apart since they are in the same county, so I would think maybe this would be the purpose of this designation. However, Mapblast.com only brings up three Westenfelds, in widely scattered areas of Germany. I would suggest going to Mapblast and noting the locations of all three, then messing around on Google to see if you can come up with anything. It would be just a fishing expedition; you mightnot find a thing. But you should note thelocations of the three Westenfelds on Mapblast and focus your search there. Wiehes married into Schnakes, and I have several on my database, but they were from Hille or Unterluebbe, Kreis Minden, not near any of the Westenfelds. If you would like to see the Wiehes in my database, go to http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~schnake/html/ and click on Name List and scroll down or use Find to go to the Wiehes.
