Hi Joyce, Do you know where in Germany your Meier's were born? I have only a few Meyer/Mayer family members in St. Louis, all of whom are connected to the focus of my research and my brick wall, my Great Grandfather OTTO STECHER Juliana Stecher Mayer and Franz Joseph Mayer, both of Renchen, Baden, married in 1872, emigrated 1891, died 1903/1901 in St. Louis (St. Peter & St. Paul) One surviving son Otto. Victoria Maier/Meier Stecher, b. 1841, who married 1869-1870 Karl/Charles Stecher of Renchen, Baden. Died 1922/1921 in St. Louis, St. Peter & St. Paul; children: Henry Stecher (w: Margaret S Klaus), Emma Stecher, Pauline Stecher Held and Louise Stecher Remmler. Samuel Meyer, b. 1916, son of Clara Stecher; stepson of Rudolph Stecher, b. 1892/ 1898, (parents) buried Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis. I realize this is a long shot, but would be very happy to help you in the slightest way. Happy Hunting.
